Miva Open University conducted its orientation event for newly admitted undergraduate students from January 10 to 12, 2024. The orientation event’s purpose was to warmly welcome the incoming students and acquaint them with the university’s core values, academic activities, support services, lecture and learning procedures, and essential information necessary for a smooth induction into the university.

Guided by the community manager, Godwin Okpe, the hangout surpassed mere student mingling; it evolved into a unique chance for students to engage directly with esteemed university representatives. The presence of key figures such as Vice-chancellor Prof. Tayo Arulogun, Dr. Femi Akinbola, Head of the Department for Business Management, Dr. Samuel Oni, Head of the Department for Public Policy and Administration, and other university representatives fostered an informal space for students to pose questions, share feedback, and fortify the bond between the university and its valuable learners.
