About the Speaker: 

Dr Obadare Peter Adewale is the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer (CVO) of Digital Encode Limited and a leading figure in cybersecurity and digital trust in Africa. He holds over 58 international certifications and has been recognised with numerous accolades, including Forbes Technology Council membership and the prestigious Forbes Best of Africa – Outstanding Digital Trust Leader 2023 award.

Peter is the first PECB Certified Data Protection Officer and Lead Pentest Professional in Nigeria, as well as the first EC-Council Licensed Penetration Tester and Certified Blockchain expert in Africa. He holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Liverpool University, an honorary doctorate from Trinity International University of Ambassadors, and is the first Professor of Practice in Cybersecurity at Miva Open University, Abuja.

With expertise in cybersecurity, data privacy, penetration testing, and IT governance, Peter has advised governments and contributed to global cybersecurity standards. He has spoken at over 150 conferences, workshops, and seminars across Nigeria, Africa, and globally. Additionally, he is a member of the Cybersecurity Advisory Board for Lagos State and a Platinum Team Member of the Open-Source Security Testing Methodology Manual (OSSTMM).
