About the Speaker:

Professor Abiodun Musa Aibinu, a distinguished “AcadoPreneur” and expert in Mechatronics and Telecommunication Engineering, is the Vice-Chancellor of Summit University, Offa, Nigeria. He combines academic brilliance with entrepreneurial innovation, serving as a board member for over 10 organizations and co-founding the Artificial Intelligence for Clean Energy Nigeria Limited.

Previously, he held leadership roles at the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT Minna), including Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department and Director of the Centre for Open Distance and e-Learning. Before academia, he worked with leading telecommunication firms such as MTN Nigeria and GS Telecom.

An advocate for Spiritual Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, and “AcadoPreneurship,” he has earned numerous awards, including the Nigerian Air Force Research and Development Award and SERVICOM Excellence Award. He has also secured prestigious research grants from the Nigerian Communications Commission, TETFUND, the Royal Academy of Engineering, and the European Union, among others.

A prolific researcher, Professor Aibinu has published widely on topics like digital signal processing, robotics, ICT, and clean energy. He mentors students and contributes to institutions like the Nigerian Air Force and National Defence Headquarters.

In addition to his academic and professional achievements, he holds the traditional title of Mogaji of the Aikulola-Aibinuomo Family in Ibadan, marking his leadership within his community and potential ascension to the Olubadan throne.
