Baba Tella is a seasoned HR professional with over a decade of experience in strategic human resources, leadership development, coaching, and organizational design. Currently, Baba serves as a Global HR Business Partner at Meta, where he plays a pivotal role in supporting the Global Business Marketing Group. He is recognized for driving strategic-level impact, offering thought leadership in large and distributed organizational environments, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Before joining Meta, Baba worked at Bank of America in London, where he supported Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, and Wholesale Credit divisions. His diverse experience across multiple industries has equipped him with a unique perspective on managing complex organizational dynamics and navigating the challenges of cross-cultural environments.
Originally from Nigeria, Baba moved to England over 10 years ago and is now transitioning to the United States. He graduated from the University of Ilorin with a degree in Chemical Engineering, which has provided him with a strong analytical and problem-solving foundation that he leverages in his HR practices. He is also an AIESEC alumnus.
Outside of work, Baba is passionate about mentoring and coaching, the future of money, and spending time with his daughters. He has a long-standing enthusiasm for dance, a passion that dates back to his days as a breakdancer. Baba is married and a proud father of two beautiful daughters. He is an advocate for cultivating healthy work-life dynamics in the fast-paced world of global business.
