About the speaker:
Dr. Mark Bekweri, the Head of the Department of Accounting at Miva Open University, is a distinguished leader in our faculty with a Ph.D from Nile University, Abuja, and an MSc in Investment Banking from Salford University, United Kingdom.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Finance & Investment Analysis, Nigeria (CIFIAN), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and fellow of the African Academics Network. Dr. Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and professional acumen to our team.
His journey in academics began as a research assistant before becoming a lecturer at Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, where his passion for teaching and helping students succeed became evident.
