Miva University held its first orientation for newly admitted undergraduate students from 4th – 9th September, 2023. The event was organized to welcome new students and get them familiar with the university’s values, academic activities, support services, lecture and learning procedures, and other important information to help them get started on their new academic journey.

The first few days of the orientation programme were dedicated to information sessions on academic guidelines and procedures. Students learned how to get started and navigate the Learning Management System (LMS).

Students had the chance to virtually meet some of their professors and other academic staff members, and got to learn more about the resources available to them.
The orientation programme concluded with the in-person social hangout held in three different locations in Nigeria (Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt) for students to meet and get to know each other.
The orientation programme is a great way for our students to start their Miva journey off on the right foot.
